Each summer I spend a day as a doggy chauffeur to Each summer I spend a day as a doggy chauffeur to drive black labs Hamlet & Juba up to their vacay home in New England! I drive them up, meet their parents at the airport & then hop on a plane back to DC while they continue on to Cape Cod. Before the drive, I research snack/walk breaks along the route & this year we stopped at: - The White Magnolia Coffee Co in Frystown, PA - Sweet Ashley’s Ice Cream in Norwalk, CT And I even had time to walk to @fully_furnished_consignment, a sweet vintage shop just a few blocks from the Providence airport. ❤️ #summer #travelstoke #roadtrip

Whenever I hear about an interesting place, I drop Whenever I hear about an interesting place, I drop a ⭐ on it in Google Maps. I can’t remember how I first came across Pulgas Water Temple, but it’s been sitting on my map for yeeeaaars. I finally got to visit last week & it’s this wonderfully odd little monument tucked into the hills south of San Francisco. After the Great Earthquake of 1906 & the fires that followed, the Hetch Hetchy Aqueduct was built to carry water from the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the Bay Area. It took 24 years to build but transformed the region’s water supply, bringing safe, reliabledrinking water to San Francisco & it’s still in use today. The Pulgas Water Temple was built as a monument to that feat of engineering. 🏆 #californiathroughmylens #bayarea #pulgaswatertemple
